Abstract
Proton-proton scattering is investigated in a model in which the protons are composed of quarks and the scattering is due to multiple collisions of the quarkso By including spin in the calculation it was hoped that the differential cross section data could be described without resorting to quark amplitudes with t-dependent phas.es to remove dips which appear in the calculations. The conclusion is that the dips persist even when spin effects are included.
