Abstract
We have investigated Mössbauer time-reversal experiments,
in an attempt to lower the upper limit on the time reversal
violating part of the mixed electromagnetic=hadronic Hamiltonian.
We were unsuccessful in the search for experimental conditions
which would have permitted lowering the limit by a significant
amount. However, in the process of analytically describing the
experiments an S-matrix formalism was developed which is applicable
to most forms of Mössbauer experiments.
