Role of Libraries in Undergraduate Research
Abstract
Librarians are increasingly proactive in providing the tools and research support services necessary to build relationships with undergraduates in formal research programs through a variety of services and outreach including instruction, space for individual and group research, and targeted collection development. However, two crucial elements are under-developed: dissemination and persistent access to this scholarly work. This panel will discuss the challenges and opportunities for libraries in the dissemination and publication of undergraduate student research.
