Abstract
Islam has used the Hip Hop culture in many ways to deliver the message of the religion but most importantly to bring people together through similar interests and beliefs. This paper discusses the level of impact of Islam on Hip hop as a way of life. Containing several insights from both Muslim students affected by Hip Hop, artists influenced by Hip Hop, and even people influenced by the Hip Hop culture, this paper elaborates on how communities of people who share the same love have been changed for the better through Hip Hop.

Introduction to the study of Muslims in the United States and broadly the history of Islam in the Americas. Using a comparative approach, we study how the historical narrative of African American and Latino Muslims relates to newer immigrant populations, primarily Arab American and South Asian American Muslim communities.
This collection examines ways in which the U.S. university and the American college experience are affected by diversity, and difference. In particular, these student projects examine experiences of diversity on campus, including important contemporary social, cultural, and political debates on equity and access to university resources.
