Abstract
My paper focuses on peoples' thoughts on why they think of the word “terrorist” when they hear about the religion Islam. My research question is why do most people incorporate the word “terrorist” with the religion Islam? I believe that the media and the news to be the source of this.

Introduction to the study of Muslims in the United States and broadly the history of Islam in the Americas. Using a comparative approach, we study how the historical narrative of African American and Latino Muslims relates to newer immigrant populations, primarily Arab American and South Asian American Muslim communities.
This collection examines the influence of globalization on the university and the university's place in a burgeoning world market for higher education.
