Abstract
This research looks at the differences in religious practices at the university as compared to at home. Specifically, I researched students, ranging from Freshman to senior(undergraduate students)and evaluated the differences/similarities in their religious habits and practices and what obstacles, if any , do they encounter when trying to practice their religion. I looked specifically at the ways in which familial and other social networks impact Islamic religious practice on campus.

Introduction to the study of Muslims in the United States and broadly the history of Islam in the Americas.
