Abstract
"We have searched for new decay modes of the charmed D meson using the Mark III detector at the SPEAR e+e-storage ring. Observations of four new decay modes are presented along with upper limits for three others We have measured a cross section times branching ratio of .035 +-.008 +-.004 nb for the ""color suppressed"" decay D+ -> Phi pi+. We observe a cross section times branching ratio for the decay D+ -> K*Obar K+ to be
.011 +-.006 +-.001 nb. Our results indicate a failure of the color suppression mechanism in D decays. We find no evidence for the W exchange decay. DO -> Phi KO."
