Abstract
An analysis of the fonvard-backward asymmetry in Z0 decays using data from
the Collider Detector at Fermilab provides a measurement of sin2 Ow. The
forward-backward asymmetry is measured to be (5.2 ± 5.9 (stat)± 0.4 (sys))%,
which implies sin2 Ow= 0.228:!8:8G (stat)± 0.002 (sys), after QCD, QED, and
weak corrections. vVhen higher order weak corrections are included, the measured
value of sin 2 Ow is consistent with previous measurements over a broad
range of top quark masses.
