Abstract
An analysis of the forward-backward asymmetry in Z$\sp{0}$ decays using data from the Collider Detector at Fermilab provides a measurement of sin$\sp2\bar\theta\sb{\rm W}$. The forward-backward asymmetry is measured to be (5.2 $\pm$ 5.9 (stat) $\pm$ 0.4 (sys))%, which implies sin$\sp2\bar\theta\sb{\rm W}$ = 0.288$\sbsp{-0.015}{+0.017}$ (stat) $\pm$ 0.002 (sys), after QCD, QED, and weak corrections. When higher order weak corrections are included, the measured value of sin$\sp2\theta\sb{\rm W}$ is consistent with previous measurements over a broad range of top quark masses.
