Abstract
Using data from the Mark III detector at the $e\sp+e\sp-$ storage ring at SPEAR, an upper limit of.30 at the 90% confidence level is set on the magnitude of the CP asymmetry $A\sb{cp}$ for the CP eigenstate $D\sp0\to K\sp+K\sp-.$ This falls within the preexisting limit of.45 @ 90% CL set by FNAL experiment E687 using the same decay. The first measurement of $A\sb{cp}$ is made for two other CP eigenstates, $D\sp0\to K\sbsp{s}{0}K\sbsp{s}{0}$ and $D\sp0\to \pi\sp+\pi\sp-.$ An upper limit for the branching ratio for the decay, $D\sp0\to K\sp-\pi\sp+\pi\sp0\pi\sp0\pi\sp0,$ for which evidence was found in the process of measuring $A\sb{cp},$ is set at 12.1%.
