Abstract
The inclusive differential Drell-Yan cross section is measured from the analysis of $\bar{p}p\to\gamma\to\mu\sp+\mu\sp-X$ events at a center-of-mass energy of $\sqrt{s}$ = 1.8 TeV at the Fermilab Tevatron collider. The dimuon events are accepted in the central pseudorapidity region of $-0.6<\eta<0.6$ of the CDF detector. The differential cross section $d\sigma/dMdY\vert\sb{Y=0}$ is measured for dimuon invariant masses between 11 GeV/c$\sp2$ and 40 GeV/c$\sp2$ and is compared to next-to-leading order theoretical predictions. The $\sigma(Z\sp\circ\to\mu\sp+\mu\sp-)$ cross section is also measured.
