Abstract
This project investigates the Illini Union Director’s Campaign titled “I-change” and compares it to a similar social civility campaign at Penn State. On the basis of two interviews and an analysis of media materials and postings on an online discussion board, the research shows that, while this campaign seemed well-intended, it was not well developed or executed and fell short in many ways. It should have included other events to have any real effect.
