Abstract
This project explores issues related to parking on the Illinois State University’s campus. On the basis of participant observation and interviews with professors, students, and residents of the community, this study finds that there is a lack of parking, which creates problems for many car owners. The author recommends that freshman and sophomores who live in the dorms for the first two years should not have cars. Faculty and students should make more use of public transportation.
