Abstract
A student ethnographer asked the following question: How do parents make the decision to continue their education and what does ISU do to aide these students? The student conducted two interviews with students who were mothers and discusses what circumstances led these parents to return to school as well as how ISU helps these parents with the extra responsibilities of being a student.
The university offers an extraordinary opportunity to study and document student communities, life, and culture. This collection includes research on the activities, clubs, and durable social networks that comprise sometimes the greater portion of the university experience for students.
