Abstract
This project focuses on ISU residence hall lifestyle floors and aims to answer the following questions: Why do students choose to live on a lifestyle floor in the residence halls? What is the logic of the lifestyle floor? Is there a sense of community on these floors? On the basis of four interviews and participant observation, the research illuminates the benefits and problems associated with lifestyle floors where students with common interests and majors are placed together.
