Abstract
The goal of the Distributed Knowledge project (DK) is to investigate distributed knowledge processes among multidisciplinary teams and the roles that technology and group context play in these processes. The initial inquiry of the project was focused on the six scientific Applications Technologies teams of the National Computational Science Alliance, funded through NSF’s PACI program. / This final report describes project highlights reflecting the accomplishments of the project as well as its participants (awards and honors, courses developed, dissertations defended, further grants and projects undertaken, selected presentations, workshops with invitation to participate and to host), project challenges, updates of new technologies and tools used, and lists project-related publications.
