Abstract

Many I-schools now offer online courses. What are the experiences we have teaching online as compared with on-campus, and what can we learn from each other? This roundtable will let participants discuss how our experiences with different software platforms, our use of asynchronous and synchronous communication, and of different communication modalities. We can also consider the effect of class size, the kind of course, and degree level. All conference attendees are invited to participate.
