Abstract
This project examines student’s perceptions, ideas, and opinions about the University of Illinois and discusses the issues that surround their particular school. The author seeks to answer the following questions: How do students feel about the academics, student body, and social life at the university? How has the Greek system, being the largest in the country, impacted student’s college life? How do students feel about the retirement of the Chief as the school symbol? What were student’s main reasons for choosing to come to this school? Based on individual student interviews, this study concludes that University of Illinois students are similar in many ways because of their communal college experience.
