Abstract
The purpose of this project is to expand the academic resources and educational materials that
can be used to expand the global studies instruction, library collection and international
education programs at Oakton College. My participation at the University of Illinois Urbana-
Champaign’s International Studies Research Lab (ISRL) gave me access to academic resources,
and educational materials (books, articles, videos and other resources) that can be used to expand
the global studies curricula and international education programs at Oakton College. I will be
using these materials to create online modules that faculty can use in their courses. Also, I will
collaborate with the library at Oakton College to create a Global Studies collection that can be
accessed by faculty and students.
