Abstract
The Kansas Department of Transportation contracted Stantec consulting to develop a Resilience Improvement Plan for the State's transportation system. This report builds upon the report produced with Stantec with an in-depth examination of the application of two equity-tools, the Climate and Economic Justice Screening Tool released by the US Department of Transportation. The tools were applied in the multi-hazard risk and vulnerability assessment phase of the project, the results of which influence project-selection decisions and the flow of investments.
