Abstract
In the fall of 2023, ISTC TAP's Zero Waste Illinois team conducted a campus building waste characterization & opportunity assessment to help Facilities & Services (F&S) identify and measure the types of landfill (trash) and recycling material generated on campus. The buildings included in the audit were the Activities & Recreation Center, Allen Residence Hall, the Business Instructional Facility, the Campus Instructional Facility, the Illini Union, Lincoln Avenue Residence Halls, Noyes Laboratory, and Roger Adams Laboratory.
