Abstract
This thesis will aim to explore how contemporary musicians can optimize their career opportunities through strategic digital promotion and professional refinement methods. The research will focus on techniques for content creation on social media, specialized foundational elements for designing the proper setup for online educational environments, personal branding, and leveraging diverse online platforms for a better online presence. The study will also consider the impact of prominent online video and music streaming platforms such as YouTube and
Spotify, and how they help with the promotion of modern musicians. The overarching goal is to develop practical insights and recommendations to encourage contemporary musicians to effectively promote their work and capitalize on career opportunities through targeted digital promotion techniques. The COVID-19 pandemic underscored the importance of digital competency and a comprehensive digital approach for both educational roles and performance engagements, making proficient utilization of digital tools an indispensable facet of career
advancement in the contemporary music industry.
