Abstract
This preliminary study reports on the user needs and expectations for the proposed digital memory book application. A total of 170 responses were collected from informal care partners of people with dementia, examining their mean rank values of the importance of activities, perceived usefulness, and expected effects of the app. Our results revealed statistically significant differences in their preferred activities and app features. Overall, these findings provide valuable insights for developing an evidence-based and user-centered computer-based program that targets care partners of people with dementia.
