Abstract

This report develops a framework planners can use to assess nature-based solutions (NbS) for their climate adaptation benefits. This report compiles land management actions from academic, policy, and practice documents, and analyzes their ecosystem services, then applies this preliminary framework to evaluate the character of nature-based solutions described in the plans of Illinois' Champaign and Urbana Park Districts.
