Federated Repositories of Accessible Materials for Higher Education
Accessibility
Abstract
This course is developed under the FRAME Project which stands for Federated Repositories of Accessible Materials for Higher Education. It is a collaboration between libraries, repositories, disability services offices (DSOs), and university presses, funded by Mellon. This collaboration aims at (1) providing federated access to metadata, source files, and remediated files; and (2) creating an educational program about accessibility and remediation. Under this project, this course has been developed as an online, asynchronous, modular, reusable, and publicly accessible course on accessibility.
