Abstract

Key success factor is an effective management term that is necessary for an organization to achieve its goal. For the first time in Thailand, three Thai leading digital repositories are awarded CoreTrustSeal Certification. This paper examines key success factors for CoreTrustSeal certification implementation of Thai digital repositories by interviewing four team leaders of digital repositories that apply for CoreTrustSeal certification. Findings indicate that the key success factors of Thai digital repositories to implement CoreTrustSeal practice are the support of university administrators, research team and advisor, teamwork, the staff experiences and good planning. Problems and obstacles are the unclear scopes of CoreTrustSeal requirements and English language literacy to explain the process of requirements. Therefore, most of them prefer more trainings about CoreTrustSeal Certification and recommend more collaboration and networking with other institutions.
