Abstract
This dissertation evaluates health disparities in the United States, with specific interests in differences in race, ethnicity, and metro-nonmetro statuses to understand diabetes transitions and management, and employment effects of the influx of foreign-educated registered nurses on native-educated nurses in the U.S. nursing market.
