Abstract
The neutral hydrogen density distribution of the geocorona in the ring current region of the Earth’s magnetosphere significantly contributes to ring current conditions. As a result, several models have been developed to describe the distribution. More recent models are limited by their dependence on measurements from past satellite missions. A solar-activity-based geocoronal neutral hydrogen distribution model is developed by fitting previous models to solar activity, resulting in a model no longer depending on past satellite observations, with similar results to previous models.
