Abstract
In a world where conservation and management decisions, big and small, often rest on conclusions from natural resource monitoring programs, lack of standardized methods can lead to a lack of comparability and interpretability among data. This is especially true when, as in the case of the Upper Mississippi River System (UMRS), data are collected in multiple habitats by multiple teams or agencies.
