"This document is to guide the Forest Preserves in the development of its own Clean Energy Plan, aligned with that of Cook County, informed by available assets, and cognizant of Forest Preserve values related to preservation and protection of resident plants, wildlife, and their supporting habitats, while simultaneously providing for the enjoyment and recreation of the region’s human citizens, now and in the future. This framework is part of the Sustainability and Resiliency Master Plan for the Forest Preserves of Cook County."
