This picture was taken in China. I am on my way to do fieldwork in a small village in Guangxi Province. There is no public transportation to this village so that we need to walk over under the scorching sun. This road is very crude without any decoration. Just like ethnographical studies, the way to the end is no company, no convenient transportations, but only natural scenery along the way. Walking on this road, I truly feel the meaning of ethnographical studies. Even though the process is demanding, it is ethnographers' duty to bring varieties in society to the public.
