Abstract

There’s a philosophy to looking at the cracks in reality as you make harrowed attempts to remember what fell between them. My research follows invisible fault lines of epistemic history, layering personal archives drafted on vellum over the blueprints of creative ancestors. I draw a unique lineage made manifest in work as ephemeral as the lives and minds of my progenitors. Change, and by extension loss, exists as an inevitable feature of the illusion of linear time. To grieve is often to bargain for explanation. I can offer no answers save to rearrange prior theory to my own means. But I do know of possibilities and superimposed probabilities. Here we might seek comfort believing that in a tangent world, there exists an alternative outcome.
