Abstract
In recent years, demand for traumatic brain injury (TBI) research has boomed with increased awareness around these injuries. This thesis intends to increase the capability of finite element (FE) TBI modeling, one of the key research areas. In the following chapters, a process designed to automate creating local spherical coordinate systems, with the origin at a chosen point and the surface normal at the zero-angle position, is described. The resulting FE file allows the user to efficiently set up complex load cases and even opens the door to future machine learning (ML) processes.
