Abstract
The Excel file contains macros that simulate the process of boundary deformation in noncohesive bank materials in a cross-sectional framework using a finite-difference numerical scheme to represent the Exner equation. The model represents a cross-section in fully-developed bend flow in which downstream divergence terms can be eliminated. The Exner equation is based on transverse fluxes of bedload sediment driven by helical flow and transverse slope. The worksheet Init contains the initial condition. The outputs are printed to new worksheets.
