Abstract
This study of some of the hydrodynamic phenomena associated with water exit is primarily of an experimental nature and was initiated in September 1956. Since the study has been under way more than a year, an extended report on progress was indicated. However, as will be apparent from the information contained herein, the results obtained to date are rather vague and a formal report did not seem justified. Hence, this presentation is in the form of an extended quarterly report.
