An autospin system, consisting of a two part missile mounted on a common axis such that a slow spin can be imparted to the rocket motor by an internal angular impulse, is analyzed to determine the effect of mass unbalance on the trajectory. The equations of motion are linearized and the entire fuel cell is assumed to be discharged as a single rigid body.
