Abstract
"Extensive erosion at Illinois Beach State Park has consumed over 100 acres of habitat in the past 80 years. The rate of loss isn't slowing. This story map was assembled as part of a collaborative venture between the Illinois Department of Natural Resources Coastal Management Program and the Illinois State Geological Survey through the Prairie Research Institute. It reflects the current thinking of the ISGS staff regarding shoreline dynamics at Illinois Beach State Park.
