Abstract
The work focuses on establishing the base of secondary frequency control in microgrids in isolated
mode, to finally arrive at the development of an algorithm for the control of power flow based on a
distributed decision-making system. The implementation of these algorithms has been carried out
using C++ programming and object-oriented language that makes communication between the
different elements of the network possible. Specifically, the main contribution of this work is the
design and implementation of the “feasible flow algorithm”. The results obtained will be analyzed
and compared to reach a conclusion about the effectiveness of distributed decision systems versus
traditional decision-making systems.
