Abstract
Molly Lunn - Deputy Director for Energy & Recycling, Illinois Department of Commerce & Economic Opportunity.
Ms. Lunn will provide an overview of Illinois' initiative to examine the State's current energy resource portfolio, from coal to nuclear to wind, solar and energy efficiency, and to model the impacts of potential changes to the resource mix. The DCEO is the point agency in this multi-agency initiative funded by the U.S. Department of Energy. This modeling is proceeding in parallel with the development of Illinois' state implementation plan for compliance with USEPA's Clean Power Plan and is anticipated to provide valuable data for that planning process.
