Examination of data provided by waterfowl hunters using Mermet Lake SFWA during the 2017-18 season revealed that the ratio of actual to survey-reported harvest (0.52) was very similar to that (0.51) reported by Anderson (1985). When broken out by the magnitude of harvest (<10 vs. >= 10), those harvesting fewer ducks over-reported their harvest to a much greater extent than did those harvesting a greater number of ducks.
