Abstract
"The 2011 Arab Spring brought new importance to the city square in the Middle East and North Africa region as a place of civic engagement. This is a study of these spaces and investigation of their interaction with the surrounding urban fabric and connection to the notions of the ""national square."" This project uses Amman, Jordan, as a case study."
