Abstract

The Smart Energy Design Assistance Center (SEDAC) was asked for a proposal by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources (DNR) to demonstrate how solar generation could work on DNR lands. The purpose of this report is to demonstrate how the DNR can generate solar energy on state park lands to generate cost savings through solar energy purchasing agreements and help Illinois reach its renewable energy generation goals.
