The Champaign County Regional Planning Commission is the current fiscal agent for Local Workforce Investment Area 17 which includes Champaign, Iroquois Ford and Piatt Counties in Central Illinois. In order to better assess the state of the regional workforce, CCRPC is conducting an innovative workforce pilot and research project. A portion of the project includes a laborshed study organized by the Regional Planning Commission that can be used as a model for the region and state.
