Abstract

The purpose of this capstone project is to evaluate the impacts and success of the dockless bikeshare program that was implemented by the company VeoRide at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. To pursue this analysis, a literature review of relevant research, a review of the history of bikeshare in general and specifically in the Champaign-Urbana area, a peer comparison of similar bikeshare programs, and a survey of the university population were conducted to get a better idea of how bikeshare programs are impacting medium-sized, university towns.
