- Abstract
- In this paper, empirical studies are adopted on different Equitable Transit Oriented Developments (ETOD) 8 different cities. This paper examines two hypotheses. The first is that ETOD has unique socio-economic patterns than traditional Transit Oriented Developments. ETODs are designed to have affordable housing to accommodate different people in different socio-economic groups. The second hypothesis is that ETODs function as effectively as Transit Oriented Developments. The collected data shows that two hypotheses are not rejected; ETODs had a unique pattern of socio-economic characteristics while being as effected as traditional Transit Oriented Developments.
