Abstract
The Dukuh Atas Transit Oriented Development area serves as an international gateway to the center of Jakarta city with various modes of transportation that are located relatively close to each other. This pedestrian plan, developed in conjunction with the Dukuh Atas master plan which is still being prepared by the Jakarta MRT company, will accommodate the needs of pedestrians to move around and to connect with the surrounding communities. This plan will help to address several sidewalk corridor issues, such as narrow and discontinuous sidewalks, poor sidewalk surfaces, and the presence of obstacles on sidewalks; and pedestrian crossing issues, such as unmarked and uncontrolled pedestrian crossings, that limit access and pose safety threats to pedestrians.
