Abstract
Scholarship and technology are both rapidly changing worlds, so library service stakeholders and developers are constantly working forward on infrastructure platforms, software, and interfaces. Institutional repository thinking is moving from platform to service to bundle of related services. Architecture to support this shift involves coordinated data and file storage solutions focused on technical requirements and affordances of the binary objects, exposed by web application portals focused on distinct needs of various user groups.
