Abstract
Upcoming generations tend to be judged based upon the status quo of the previous generation. The term “millennial” is used as a pejorative to describe the Generation Y cohort primarily in the US and Britain; whereas, the following sampling of popular and academic articles suggest the predominant international usage of “millennial”is not as subjective. With intergenerational bias promoted by social conservatives in the United States as a starting point, this project examines perceptions of and attitudes toward millennials (Generation Y) and how they vary across cultures and nations.
