Abstract
Donald Trump and Kim Jong Un have exchanged personal insults which have pushed the countries closer to conflict. The purpose of this Unit is to help student make sense of current events and analyze the situation. This unit will briefly look at the history, the events and the leaders who have shaped this conflict. Students will also get a look at the points of view from all of the countries involved in the crisis. Students need to have a grasp on what each country hopes to achieve in this situation. Activities for this unit include a Classroom time line activity, online news review, two classroom videos and lecture PowerPoint notes.
