Abstract
In the last year and a half, the research group under Dr. George Miley has been conducting experiments on the pressurization of chemically reactive nanoparticle metal hydrides with hydrogen gas. A consistent behavior of a net anomalous heat release has been seen. With consultation from peers and comparison to similar experiments by a Japanese research group called Technova, there has been an effort to analyze these experiments with deuterium gas at higher temperatures. The calorimetry for higher temperature experiments proved to be a bit more complicated; therefore, a new reactor setup was designed to allow for calorimetry of the system. This paper will outline the results of the experiments thus far, and where they might lead.
